When you are ready, pop in your postcode at the top of the careers page and search for jobs near you. You will see all available roles listed on a map, then select the roles that are of interest to you and click APPLY NOW.
The following pages will ask a series of questions to get to know you, understand your availability, and give us an understanding of how you will fit into team KFC. At the end, you’ll have a chance to upload a resume before submitting your application. Congratulations, you’ve applied!
We are now only accepting applications online. It means that we can keep all of the applications together to make sure nobody gets lost or forgotten!
You sure can! There is no limit to the number of jobs you can apply for. Simply choose all of the stores and roles you are interested in applying to in the map view and your application will be sent for all of the roles you have selected.
Some state and territory governments have restrictions about the age at which young people can be employed, the type of work they can do and when they can work. We ask you to provide your date of birth to assist us in meeting our legal obligations, including but not limited to determining that you have a right to work, paying you at the correct rates if junior rates apply and obtaining the signature of your parent or guardian (if required).
You can upload a resume or school report when you apply online, but it's optional.
The assessment gives us an idea of how you might handle potential situations if you are chosen for a job at KFC. It also helps us to learn a little more about who you are and helps us make the best choice when selecting someone to join the team.
You can, but not until 90 days after your most recent submission. We’ll do our best to find a fit for you in Team KFC. After that, feel free to submit a new application and re-take the assessment.
You will immediately receive an email from us, thanking you for showing an interest in working at KFC and letting you know what you should expect next.

All we want to do at the interview is get to know you and see if you'd be a good fit for Team KFC. We'll ask some questions to see how you'd handle certain situations but there are no right or wrong answers, so don't stress.
Before your first day of work, you'll need to provide us with some information and documents, which you'll submit electronically. For our employment records, we'll need:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Mobile phone number
- Two (2) Emergency contact details
- Bank details, including a bank account number
- A copy of their Australian birth certificateand Official Photo ID (Driver’s License or School Student ID) or
- Australian or New Zealand passport or
- Visa Details
- Superannuation fund details (optional)
- Tax file number (not mandatory, but you may be at risk of having tax deducted at a higher rate if not provided)
- Parent or guardian consent (if under 15)
Pay rates at KFC vary depending on many factors, including whether an employee is casual, part-time or full-time, as well as age if under the age of 21. More information about our pay rates can be found in the below link.
