I’m now rethinking everything I packed in my bag anyone else feels like they overpacked? I just don’t want my husband running to the store and getting me the wrong stuff can’t believe( GOD WILLING)I’ll be meeting my sweet baby next Friday we are team green and have been so anxious to know who is going to rule the house! We currently have a girl(17) and a boy who is soon to be 4! Anyone else just freaking ready!? Seriously PRAYING for all of you since our journeys started! We are almost done! Some a few weeks, some a few days and many a few hours/minutes from meeting our babies

That looks like a very reasonable checklist. It has a lot less than what my hospital recommends we bring. I don’t think you overpacked at all if you stuck to your list.

looks good. Why so many baby outfits? Does baby wear them in the hospital? Mine wore the required hospital T-shirt and a swaddle, so we only packed one outfit for going home.

@baby-mama-2289,
the hospital I deliver at likes the baby to wear a white shirt too! And the swaddle blanket with hat while in the hospital.

I think the list is just enough.. watching videos of hospital bags gives me anxiety! I honestly think you don’t need as much as people say.. I would just take some energy sports drinks and bottles of water aswell just incase. Good luck next Friday ❤️

Looks perfect! 4th time mom and all I bring is toiletries, phone charger, and going home outfits for baby and I. Possibly one adult diaper for me to wear home instead of the mesh undies lol but I don’t bring extra outfits for me or baby or any pads etc hospital has everything you need.

personally, I prefer to use the hospital gowns over wearing my own clothes. Just because of getting them dirty. The hospital also supplies plenty of sanitary pads so you can leave those home too. I also preferred to use the grippy socks from the hospital.
Honestly 3 baby outfits seems like a lot. Just bring the going home outfit. Don’t burden yourself with all the extra stuff just for your hospital stay. It’s short and you’ll be home with your familiar things before you know it. One thing I packed to make the room feel less … hospital-y … was a blue tooth speaker to play music I enjoyed. It really helped.

one more thing… your milk probably won’t come in while you’re in the hospital. So you probably don’t need the nursing pads.

@amrobertson5,
nope! i think it has something to do with the Oxygen sensor or something i really don't know but people would obv go in sometimes when they go into labour unexpectedly and they make it work ♀️
