You will need to speak to a medical doctor to assess your eligibility for a Medicare sleep test rebate. Medicare state that only patients that are considered to have a high probability for symptomatic, moderate to high risk obstructive sleep apnea based on a Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) questionnaire score of 8 or more, plus an OSA-50 questionnaire score of 5 or more, or a STOP-Bang questionnaire score of 4 or more can qualify.*

Simply book an appointment with your doctor totalk throughyour sleep experience and your ResMedSleep Assessment results.
In the appointment, talk through howyou sleep. Ask your doctor about your eligibility for a Medicare-rebated home sleep test. For a Medicare-rebated sleep test, you candownload the referral form here and take it with youto your doctor’s appointment.
