NYT Strands Hints & Answers for Nov 23 (#630) - Sweet Tooth Theme Solved! (2026)

Get ready for a mouth-watering puzzle adventure with today's NYT Strands challenge! This one is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, but beware, some answers might be tricky to untangle. If you're craving a hint or two, you've come to the right place.

Unveiling the NYT Strands Mystery

NYT Strands is a daily online game that's become a must-play for puzzle enthusiasts. In this game, you're tasked with finding hidden words that fit a specific theme. The rules are simple yet challenging, and I've got all the details you need to master this game in my comprehensive guide.

But here's where it gets controversial... some puzzle solvers might argue that the rules are too easy, while others find them just right. What's your take?

Today's Sweet Treat: Strands Puzzle

Today's puzzle theme is all about satisfying your sweet tooth, with a hint of Halloween treats. If you're stuck, remember that any words of four or more letters can help you unlock in-game hints. Here are some words I used to get those hints: STRAND, REDS, REND, SEND, TENDS, and RUST.

The answers to today's puzzle are all tied to this sweet theme. Your goal is to find them all, including the spangram, a theme word that spans the entire puzzle. When you've found them all, every letter on the board will be used. Here are the non-spangram answers: DOTS, NERDS, RUNTS, STARBURST, and WHATCHAMACALLIT.

And this is the part most people miss... the spangram! Today's spangram is CANDYAISLE. To find it, start with the C on the bottom row, three letters to the right, and wind your way up.

Toughest Strands Puzzles: A Challenge for the Brave

If you thought today's puzzle was a breeze, wait till you try some of the toughest Strands topics I've encountered.

1: Dated Slang, January 21st. This one might have you scratching your head, especially if you weren't around when this lingo was cool. The toughest word? PHAT.

2: Thar She Blows, January 15th. A marine biologist's dream, or nightmare? The toughest words: BALEEN or RIGHT.

3: Off the Hook, January 9th. Similar to the January 15th puzzle, this one favors those with extensive knowledge of sea creatures. The toughest words: BIGEYE or SKIPJACK.

So, are you ready to take on these challenging puzzles? Or do you prefer a more relaxed puzzle experience? Let's discuss in the comments!
