As part of my job I would drop off and pick up people who are blind/partially sighted. Every one of them have nothing but praise for the staff here who really seem to go out of their way to look after them.

Staff are very friendly and there is something for everyone. Plenty of variety of classes to include hiit step, combat, spinning, pump etc. All of the instructors are brilliant but my favourite is June, I really enjoy her hiit step and spin, they keep me motivated. The facility is clean, swimming pool is quiet enough in the evenings, racquet sports are included in the monthly fee. I left to join a leisure centre closer to my home to save on time and petrol but it didn't compare to the Valley, so I've rejoined and loving it.

Made a 9am booking today for the fitness suite. I arrived at 8.55am my swiped card wouldn't let me gain access through the turnstile I was made to wait at the reception desk for more than 10 minutes It was a stressful experience every one else was allowed access and I was made to wait. In the end I went back home because I already had missed 15 minutes of the session. I won't be back until this problem get sorted.

MORE membership at the Valley provides an excellent gym area and a range of fitness classes including Aquafit. It is clean, modern with up to date facilities. Monthly concession membership rate for over 60's is affordable and @ £16 is well worth the cost. Fabulous pool, spa, jacuzzi and steam room. Changing and shower facilities are great and very clean. Cafe offers a range of coffee and food. Even sells vegan sausage rolls. What MORE could you want!

Went here to spectate at a powerlifting competition. The centre has all the facilities for every member of the family. From baby to senior citizen. I was most impressed how well used it was on both days I attended. All the staff were very enthusiastic and helpful.

Tracey Smyth 3 years ago

They have a good choice of classes at suitable times for all abilities. Great for all the family. Other leisure centres should have the same idea as not everyone is just a gym fan.

Maureen Jameson 3 years ago

Great place to entertain my grandson. Brilliant park at the back of centre and also a little walkway and bridge were you can feed the ducks haha

Tony John O'Neill 4 years ago

Great place to walk your dog. The Vally park has lots of wooded area plus meadows, and if you have kids there is a large adventure play ground one of the best in Northern Ireland in the grounds. Also sports facilities for football, GAA, hockey.ect I use it for walking the dogs and the pathways keep my feet dry.

gerard mclaughlin 4 years ago

Tony Barclay 4 years ago

Popular, large facility with myriad opportunities for well-being/exercise for all - including a greyhound grass exercise lane. Two cafes that are excellent value, plus the weekly parkrun (Saturday, 9.30pm, measured and timed 5k run/jog/walk - free)

Mandy Creighton 5 years ago
